Aloha Family and Friends of Billy Prette!
Many of us know and love Billy and his family. They all have touched our lives in so many wonderful ways over the years. Right now more than ever, they need our heartfelt support!
Besides payers, many of you have been asking how else you can help Billy and his family cope with Billy's illness. The Prettes remain positive and hopeful, and Bill and Nona are focused on Billy's health. Although Bill and Nona have never asked for it, there is another way that we can all support this awesome, loving family...Our contributions here will be a true blessing, and go directly to Bill and Nona to help pay for Billy's medical treatment for glioblastoma mulitiforme.
Billy is currently majoring in electrical engineering at University of Hawaii. When he's not caring for his older brother Mikie, who has cerebral palsy, he enjoys playing on-line video games, working out and hanging out with his friends and family. But he's not just about playing games and hanging out. He's a smart, hardworking kid who graduated from Kapolei High with A's and B's.
He is a wonderful and brave friend who broke the news of his surgery and illness to his friends in person. Not surprisingly, his friends thought he had great news about a girl; but instead they learned that Billy was ill.
Everyone loves Billy and can't wait for him to get better...especially his dog Lucky, who happens to look like "donkey" in the movie Shrek. Everyone needs a sidekick! Billy is an exceptional young man with family who depend on him and friends who love him; but more than that, he's a down-to-earth kid at heart who enjoys the small things...like washing his hair once the staples from surgery are taken out!
