We are a start-up business based in Harrogate.
Our journey began when Makhosi Sma came to us for help during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Makhosi ran a creche for children in her local community (Durban, South Africa) but due to the pandemic restrictions, she could no longer afford this. Makhosi proposed that if Cauz could provide a way for her to run a business she would use this income to support her creche business in the future.
This was the birth of MaCauzi Kitchens Cauz Container. So far we have been able to provide Makhosi with a Cauz Container kitchen unit; fitted with a wifi router, kitchen facilities, a security fence and an outdoor cover. This has allowed MaCauzi to provide hot meals for her community and start generating income again.

What are Cauz Containers?
We believe that everyone in South Africa should have access to vital services. That's why we're bringing these services via Cauz Containers directly to the people who need them.
The Container Network is made up of individual business's run from Cauz Containers which provide jobs in rural area's. The support we offer allows entrepreneurs in rural South Africa to open their own business, as well as improving their local economy.
What will we use donations for?
David Zuma - Cauz Lifestyle
We are looking to raise £2000 to build a Cauz Container for (example) David Suma. David lives in Mpophomeni, Pietermaritzburg, KZN, South Africa a rural community in which it very hard to find work. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, David had started a job working in the hospitality sector but with the total closure of restaurants, he lost his job and any access to income.
£2000 will provide David with a 6m Cauz Container complete with a WIFI router, security fence, shelter and the equipment he needs to open his own business. This will allow David to open a restaurant and provide free WIFI for his community. There is currently very little IT infrastructure in South Africa, which leaves people in rural area's reliant on expensive mobile data as there only access to the internet.
'I want to add a vegetable garden behind my Cauz Franchise, where I can get local produce which will help provide for the community. There are a lot of families that can benefit from the Garden. This will also impact on the environment by re-fertilising otherwise unused land. - David Suma
We want to help young entrepreneurs like David grow their communities any support will be greatly appreciated and will allow us to continue helping people like David.
