Cats orthopedic surgery

Everyone who knows me, knows my heart belongs to the animals. I’ve been in veterinary medicine for about 10 years and have had my fair shares of rescuing and adopting. I give everything I have to these animals who need me and this time I’m needing help to get my newest rescue orthopedic surgery. I rescued Crabcakes (he came with that name lol) about a month and a half ago. He has hip dysplasia and needs a MPL surgery meaning that his knee cap is completely out of place and he limps like a pirate. This cat has touched many hearts with his personality and he deserves to be able to feel better. I work at a specialty hospital that offers orthopedic surgery that presented me with an estimate that ranges up into the $3500 range. My employee discount makes it to where I pay about 50% of that so I’m needing about $1500 for his surgery. I’m a full time worker and have a 4 year old in VPK and we just don’t have the money right now with everything going on and could really use some help for anyone who even has $1 to spare. I’ve never asked for financial help for a rescue but I sure could use it this time
