Cathy Pesce Cancer Treatment Fund

In 2016, my wife, Catherine Pesce, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in her right arm. She went through radiation treatment, chemotherapy, surgery and reconstructive surgery to stabilize her destroyed ulna. Then the college where she worked for over 21 years made some drastic and devastating cuts which resulted in elimination of her job and her health insurance. Then a critical abdominal surgery was needed and the medical bills started to pile up. Last week at her 6 month checkup, two new tumors have reoccurred and surgery is once again needed, but without health insurance, the hospital requires the back balance due to be paid before surgery can proceed. Then radiation/chemo treatments will be needed again. With only a part time job, health insurance costs are beyond our budget. We have two children who still need their mother, and I have done everything I can to raise funds, but we are still several thousand dollars short. Cathy must pay the hospital by October 14th, or she will have to wait until December for surgery, but the tumors are growing so rapidly, we risk them metastasizing by then. Please help her receive this life-saving medical attention.
