Cathy Mack

As some of you may know, a member of our PHSC family, Cathy Mack, our KOP front desk Rock Star, had a terrible fall off of a ladder a few weeks ago and broke her back. She is currently in great hands and treating with Dr. Alex Vaccaro, but it is still uncertain if she will need surgery.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t end there.  A few days ago, Cathy was on her way to a doctor’s appointment when her car was sideswiped, totaling her car.  As a result, she went to the emergency room for more testing. Thankfully she is okay; however, more testing was needed to see if the accident worsened her back.

As you can imagine, Cathy has incurred significant medical expenses.  Her health insurance does offer some coverage, but she is still left with out of pocket costs that she cannot afford at this time. Due to these expenses, Cathy is trying to convince her surgeon to allow her to come back to work as early as next week, so that she can earn a full paycheck to pay her bills.

If you know Cathy, then you know that she is the most kindhearted, caring, selfless, human being and would do anything for anyone without hesitation or wanting something in return. Let’s do the same for her!  Cathy would never ask for help, but we know she needs it.  Let’s try to help relieve this burden from her as much as we can so that she can recover from her injury worry free.
