Catherine's Summer College at Georgetown

I am currently a sophomore in high school and have recently been accepted into a summer program at Georgetown University. This course, entitled “Fundamentals of Law: The American Legal System,” will give me three college credits and afford me the opportunity to spend five weeks on a college campus. This program would provide me with an amazing opportunity to further my knowledge of the legal system. I aspire to be a constitutional lawyer; therefore, a greater knowledge and understanding of the legal system will greatly benefit me. Also, I am considering going to Washington, DC for college because of all the lawyers and connections I would be able to make there. Spending a summer on the campus would help me decide whether or not I may have a future in Georgetown.

I have been offered a partial scholarship of $1,175 from Georgetown. However, I still need $5,400, not including transportation costs to attend. However, my family cannot afford the cost of this program. I would like to know if anyone would like to make a contribution to help support me and make my trip to DC possible. I have until July 3rd to raise the money needed. Thank you for all of your support.
