Catherine's relocation fund

On December 28th 2017 my ten year old son decided to use the stove to make nuggets and forgot the oil on the stove which, thankfully, we were able to exit the apartment just in time before the entire unit went up in flames. The Fire Inspector said that another five minutes in the unit and they would have been stepping over our bodies so we were very, very lucky. My mother was going to help me with my move which was planned before the fire and I have been struggling financially. Unfortunately, my mother had a severe stroke on December 30th and for obvious reasons will be unable to help us. Between losing our home and nearly losing my mother and chidrens grandmother, we are in quite a dire situation. The Red Cross has been wonderful but come Friday, noon, this week we will have no place to go. I need to raise funds for first and last months rent and our moving expenses and treatment of our belongings which were not destroyed in the fire. I struggled with the idea of starting a "Go Fund Me" but I've been left little choice. My family would be greatly appreciative of any help that the community can offer. Hopefully 2018 will be a better year. Thank you in advance, God bless and all the best for 2018.
