SOMEONE WONDERFUL NEEDS OUR HELP

Over the past two years I have become acquainted with Catherine English via a Face Book connection.

Just recently I read that she has been hit with a life shattering illness.

Home alone...with only her 5 little pets Catherine was struck by a sudden and still unexplained attack.  Without warning on Saturday nite she blacked out and fell from her bed.
Wandering in and out of consciousness she was unable to move to get ANY HELP AT ALL FOR SIX DAYS. She went without water and food and her pets only had a little water.

Mercifully they were all saved by an astute mail carrier who saw the mail building up ...when she could not get any answer from Catherine by banging on the door ( the pets were answering with fearful noises) she called 911.

Catherine was taken to the hospital but by no means out of the woods.  A broken arm, and severely dehydrated her Drs. have no real explanation as to what caused this terrible attack.  They think some kind of seizure or a stroke but no definite answers.

This amazing women now retired and settled in Texas has spent over 40 years in animal welfare.  Her career has provided countless animal’s good health, help and protection.

Sadly what this work does not provide is a large retirement income.
We all worry about how hard it could be to live on just enough and shudder to think about what a catastrophic illness could do!!!!!

Well, Catherine is now living through this horror.  She is still paying bills associated with last year's hospital stint for heart failure and acute kidney failure.

Catherine lives alone. Those past ailments left her unable to drive and since then has had to pay someone to get her places, bring in groceries, as well as help her to do things she can no longer do for herself.

When I heard of this latest attack I figured she may need some financial help ....she very shyly admitted she did.

Catherine’s ability to move and some of her organs need time to recover.  She will be in a rehab facility for an undisclosed period of time... her babies, Opie and Yogi Doodlebanger (12 1/2 year old Shih Tzu dogs) and Chloe, Oliver, and Sophie (her cats) are presently being cared for by friends.

It would be so wonderful to know that Catherine will have enough money to get home with her furry family and have enough money to get on with her life.

Her small income will not cover the hospital and continuing recuperation expenses not covered by insurance.  She does not even know yet what further home assistance she will need from this last horrible event.

Recently I have seen the generosity that Go Fund Me pages have done for another person I am acquainted with.

I'm hoping my circle of friends and family can find it in their hearts to donate. And, if money is tight, please share this request on your Facebook page. The more people we can reach the easier it will be to raise[cd1]  funds.

WE CAN DO THIS!!  It would be wonderful if we could relieve the worry Catherine has right now while she is still in a nursing facility.

Catherine lives alone.  Let's give her the gift of uniting her and her band of five furry loved ones to get  her home soon and have the help and the finances they need to live a stress less life while she recuperates.

My most sincere thanks for your consideration  and generosity.
