In October of 2016 Cate received the worst diagnosis anyone could possibly imagine - she was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer at the age of 44 years old. Cate and husband Jeff have two beautiful children Mac (11) and Lily (12) who have been devasted by this news.
Cate is currently undergoing standard Chemotherapy treatments in efforts to prolong her life.
Cate has decided to fight this journey with every ounce of energy and is combining chemotherapy with non conventional treatment at The Health Source - Integrative Medical Centre in Kitchener, ON. This facility specializes in Naturopathic Oncology and provides the best opportunity for optimal outcomes and improved quality of life. This type of specialized service comes at a hefty price of $3,000/month,
$36, 000/year!! (which is not covered by any health care benefit packages or OHIP). She has begun this treatment but simply cannot afford to continue. (realistically not many of us could)
On behalf of Cate, Jeff and family, we are asking everyone we know to help support this initiative by donating whatever you can so that we can arrange for Cate to undergo this treatment along side of her Chemotherapy. - This is Cate's only chance of survival!!!! Please help us help Cate!!
