Expedition to build homes in Zambia

July 2019 I will travel to Zambia and Botswana for 23 days. During this expedition I will be working on the Mwandi project. Here I will have the opportunity to fund and build a new home from start to finish and hand it over to the recipient at the end of the project
phase.
The project works to build traditional mud huts
with iron roof sheets for the most vulnerable and
in need members of the community. These people
include elderly grandparents caring for AIDS
orphans, people with disabilities and those who
have been abandoned or neglected by their families.
I am going to get my hands dirty, learn new skills and
perhaps discover somethings I didn’t know I had !!
I will also be trekking around the area for a week to better understand the environment and common issues that the local people face on a daily basis.
If you are feeling very generous, then perhaps you would like to think about sponsoring me for a day of the trip. I am auctioning 20 days at £150 for one day.
For each day sponsored I will send photos and diary entry for that day.
