CASWELL COUNTY VETERANS MEMORIAL
Donation protected
Our mission is to construct a memorial to veterans of Caswell County who have served in all branches of the military. It will be located at the corner of North Avenue and East Church Street in the town of Yanceyville, NC. All donations are tax deductible.
The memorial will be constructed with a black granite wall mounted on blue granite base. Ceramic medallions representing each branch of service will be mounted on the two foot base. The black granite slabs elevate from four feet to eight feet with a total width of 26 feet. Names of Caswell County veterans killed in the 20th and 21st century will be engraved on the front of the black granite wall. Three flag poles will rise above the memorial flying the flags of the United States of America, North Carolina and the POW/MIA flag. The surrounding walking area will be granite with brick edging. Four black granite benches representing local veterans organizations will be placed in this area.
