As many of you know I have been in recovery
for around seven years now and have recently been open about telling my story.  I am continuously battling with my body image and not feeling good enough and so many others are as well. Eating disorders aren’t talked about as much as they are needed to be and more awareness needs to be raised. Lots  of people in the past  have told me I don’t look like I have an eating disorder or assumed what my disorder is based on what I look like and      this is not okay to do to anybody ever! We don’t know what is going through peoples head and it’s so important to show kindness in these situations.

We do this by working directly with sufferers and their families, and by using that experience to highlight the challenges they face and campaign for change. Our vision is a society where people with eating disorders experience care and understanding, and           where they can quickly access treatment that supports a rapid and sustained recovery.

so to help raise awareness I have decided to shave my head to raise money to go to this charity to help pay for the helplines that are so desperately needed now more than ever.
