Casarez Family Funeral and Kidney Journey Expenses

Hey, I'm Katie, and I'm trying to raise money for my dad's funeral, but that's not all.

When we knew we were going to have to take our dad off life support, they told us that he was an organ donor. My mom is diabetic, on dialysis, and on the waiting list for a kidney. In the beginning of our funeral arrangements, we got news that my dad is a match for my mom's kidney. So, in the midst of this tragedy of losing my dad, he is able to save my mom to be able to live a little longer by giving his wife his kidney.

So, not only do we have to raise funds for his funeral, we also have to keep funds available to take mom to San Antonio for all medical appointments and check-ups. We are a 5/6 hour drive away from San Antonio, so that gives a little more detail on coming and going.

On top of all this, my sister and I have had to stop work to help my mom and handle all arrangements for the funeral and transplant appointments, so we won't have income coming in to still keep our households going. Any little bit helps and is appreciated. Thank you and God bless!!
