Help us build communal kitchen

Do you know that every year nearly 10,000 children under 5 years of age die from preventable causes in Colombia?  Of these avoidable deaths, at least 30% occur in malnourished children.
Fundation Casa del Alma develops a bilingual education program  and biocultural project that also provides full breakfasts.
Many of the children who arrive at our school in Betania, an indigenous reservation of San Antonio Cauca, Colombia must walk 12 kilometers every weekday  in a mountainous area, after two and a half hours of walking they arrive tired and hungry.
With your help we can continue with the construction of community kitchen and implement lunches and dinners for 307 children of this community.


At present we have a poultry house that provides fresh eggs for breakfast and a small farm that slowly starts to give its first crops!
You can tremendously impact the life of a child and change the history of a community that has been affected by more than 50 years by the war in Colombia.
When we all have access to the same opportunities and our universal rights as food, health and education we can be part of the global change we all need.
