After the Sept 19th Earthquake in Mexico thousand, already poor, lost everything. We are helping those with out any government support rebuild their lives by helping them build their new homes respecting their needs, ways, recuperating traditional ways of building ( abode, tapial, bajareque ). We are focused in Hueyapan, Morelos which is a poor farming community 2 1/2 hrs from Mexico City. All benefited need to work on their own homes and that of neighbors. We use local materials, eco-friendly, and foment social integration and cooperation. We also promote education. Each house, each case, is different but in average each home will cost 7,000 in materials and salaries of workers that help those in need as they learn how to build their own home and that of others. Every little thing helps.
