Casa Montessori Rebuild

My name is Gileysa Penzo, and I am a current basketball player at the University of Oklahoma. I am from San Juan, Puerto Rico, where all my family still lives. I have always been the person who loves to help others, and this is a way that I can support. I am raising money for the elementary school, Casa Montessori del Nino, where my sisters, cousins, and I went to school from pre-K through 6th grade. Due to the hit of Hurricane Maria the school's structure was damaged, along with teacher supplies and learning materials. Casa Montessori is not only where my family and I went to school, but also where 2 of my aunts currently teach. This school holds a very special place in my heart, and whenever I get the opportunity to go home I make it a priority to go by and say hello to all the amazing teachers that helped me become who I am today. I want to raise funds for them to be able to rebuild, and buy all school supplies necessary to get back on their feet.
