Carry Bijan's Compassion Forward - CLOSED

Many of you know how much Bijan loved to travel. Over the past five years, he fell in love with the natural beauty of Mexico and the warmth of its people.

On our most recent trip, we found ourselves in a small mountain town called Jalpan, where we met Eddie—a local guide who had been recommended to show us around the stunning Sierra Gorda mountains. What started as a simple tour quickly turned into a real friendship. Bijan connected with Eddie in a deep and genuine way, and soon got to know his family—who live with very modest means, yet radiate generosity, kindness, resilience, and love in a way that really stayed with him.

Bijan never put much faith in big, formal charities—he saw too much red tape and too many empty promises. His belief was simple: to create real, lasting change on this earth, you have to do it one person at a time.

In that spirit, and in his memory, we’re raising funds to support Eddie and his family directly. It’s a small way to carry forward the kind of connection and compassion Bijan brought into the world.
