Help Carrie Galbraith Heal

On Monday September 25th Carrie went to the emergency room in extreme pain.  After almost two weeks of tests, draining fluids, giving fluids, more tests of every vital and some non vital organs, and more pain she was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver, with many of her internal organs strained.  Those of you that know Carrie, know that her diagnosis is not a function of lifestyle choices.  The doctors are currently still at a loss for how she has come to have this diagnosis.  But regardless of the the "whys," the prognosis is clear: she will benefit from and is a good candidate for a liver transplant.  While she is weak and her systems compromised, she is not advised to work.  Between hospital bills, regular expenses while off work, the ongoing treatments she will need, and preparing for the transplant, she could really use our help.  Please find it in your heart to contribute what you can for this incredible woman, who has had such an impact on our lives from her role in the Cacophany Society, to her Fulbright Scholarship, the gaming industry, teaching, and her incredible art.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! --Carrie's family.
