Carols cancer fight- help ease financial burdens

It is with a humble heart that I am asking for donations & prayers, in my step-moms fight to live. Carol was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer that has now spread to her liver & lungs. Carol's genetic mutation is KRAS G12V, a rare type and aggressive type. Her treatments have been on going for several years with no remission. During the early years of Carol's treatment, my dad was the sole provider as Carol was no longer able to work. Then, my dad was let go from his position of 30+ years at STV.  With this, they lost their main source for income & Life Insurance. The cost to travel for her treatments, extended stays and medications, has by far exceeded their income. These circumstances have left them destitute.

We are hopeful, that with your help, Carol will be given more options for treatment, and will be able to focus on her health, not the financial burdens. If you are able to help in anyway, please know that Carol and our entire family are so humbly grateful for your contribution.

We would like everyone to know that whatever funds are not used, they will be donated to the next person/persons in need. Also, our main goal, is to reach as many people as possible. This is not just about donations. We are also desperate in finding other cancer treatment facilities that are running clinical trials for the KRAS G12V mutation. Carol has participated in clinical trials previously. This is something she hopes to continue to do, if possible, to not only go in to remission, but to be a part of the research in finding a cure for this type of genetic mutation.
