Ok so admit it! You needed to get down a hula hoop trick or figure out a dance technique and needed a bit of help. Who do you go to? One of the main hoopers who has been creating hooping tutorials for years is Caroleeena!!! Just look at her Youtube Channel and you will see a majority of the hoopers out there have gone straight to her youtube videos to see the best way to nail a trick, find their flow, or a dance step! With grace and style and her beautiful smile, Caroleeena has shared so much with everyone in the community and now it’s time for us to thank her for all that she has created.
What is the Campaign raising funds for?
Caroleeena is creating this fundraising goal for the plane ticket to travel to Germany. Everything else is taken care of but the cost for the flight alone is what is driving this campaign.
Who is Caroleeena?
If you are not in the hoop dance or flow community then this is definitely a person you need to know! Carolyn Mabry, aka Caroleeena , founder of Circles of Joy , is an internationally known performer and hoopdance instructor from Raleigh, NC. She has been teaching hoopdance since 2005, locally, nationally and internationally. Caroleeena performs with hoops, poi, fans and other tools and is an accomplished dancer in many styles, lots of which she draws upon in her teaching. Her numerous tutorials and videos on YouTube are eagerly awaited by new and experienced hoopers across the globe. Her teaching style is clear, enthusiastic and encouraging. She has twice won Hoopie Awards from Hooping.org — in 2007 for her work mentoring hoop students around the globe and again in 2009 for Tutorial of the Year and hasrepeatedly been nominated for Hoop Instructor of the Year by her peers. Not only is she a hoop dance performer and instructor but she is also an animal enthusiast. Many of her wonderful pets will share space and hoop time with her in her videos.
