Carol Sternod Lince's Fight

This fund is being set up to help Neal’s Mom, sister to many and aunt to even more. Carol (Sternod) Lince raise money so that she can pay her monthly living expenses while she battles Stage 2 Vulva (vaginal) cancer.
Carol started doctoring in October of 2016 and after many referrals to other doctors, testing and finally a surgery so that they could send samples to pathology, Carol was diagnosed in July 2017 with Stage 2 Vulva (vaginal) cancer. Further testing via a PET Scan revealed the cancer had already spread to her inguinal lymph nodes and so surgery was no longer on option to remove the biggest cancer mass. Carol began a course of weekly chemo along with daily radiation on September 11th. This course of treatment is expected to last 8 weeks where at that point she will have another PET scan to see if the treatment is working. Carol’s only source of income for the last 30+ years is from her paper route. She is also the sole caretaker of her 94-yr. old husband, and they live on a ranch in Montana which they are trying to keep maintained and running through all of this.
As her treatment progresses and the pain from radiation and medication are more frequent, she won’t be able to continue with her daily paper route which means she won’t have an income or means to pay her normal monthly bills. Carol’s family is helping as much as possible traveling to help on the ranch, take her to treatments etc. but we are all in hopes that with this GoFundMe account we can ease the monthly financial stress for her so she can focus on just fighting this and getting better. Every little bit helps and will be greatly appreciated.
