This is one of the most heart breaking, and unbelievable things that we have had to do.
First off mom is still with us and if you can stop by and visit and to tell her you love her, I know she would love to hear it! Norton Hospice Care -Hosparus E. Broadway 6th floor room 606.
They told us it could be a matter of days.
We found out that mom had cancer on Sept 20 2016. She has fought this beast for almost 11 months.
She was shoved into hospice care in Feburary and fought her way back out in March! How many have recovered in hospice care for any period of time? I belive God added days and months to her life! She became strong enough to do a few more treatments of Chemo. Unfortunately it has gotten the best of her. Hospice care this time is really different momma is declining, not eating or drinking, and only in comfort measures.
This strong woman is so inspring... she wanted that testimony and she got it for a few months! She has kept her faith every momement, through all the small victories and through all of the trials. When she passes I know she will be going to be with Jesus and will say " I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" 2 Timothy 4:7-8. It's humbling to know that the scripture didnt end at I have kept the faith... the promise is there in verse 8. Hence fourth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousnesss, which the Lord, the righeous judge shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. KJV.
Although this hurts so bad, its comforting to know where she is going!
I have been saving for this tragic day for a couple of months now, but I dont have nearly enough to do even a creamation service for her. My momma deserves more, but I'm praying to collect enough to at least do a creamation service.
My sister and I met with the funeral home yesterday... heart broken and cutting corners we got the price cheaper than 9 other places that I contacted.
My family has asked for me to put up this page in hopes of someone being able to give anything to help with the funeral expenses.
Unfortunately all of the funeral homes I contacted has to have payment in full before the service.
We thank you in advance for any donation that you can give and we pray that it blesses you to give, as much as it is a blessing to us to be able to do something for momma. If you are not able to give please join us in prayer that we can collect enough to give her a small service that she deserves.
