Help with Carmen's Liver Transplant

Hi, my name is Carmen Aguirrechu,

A few years ago I pricked my finger with a needle from a patient that had hepatitis C. Since that moment, I contracted hepatitis and have been suffering from it for a few years.

This illness has destroyed my liver to the point that I can no longer work. I was an OR coordinator at Jackson South and this illness has debilitated me to the point that I am now on a waiting list for a Liver Transplant.

The process has been devastating, the pain the constant tests and procedures and the liquid retention in my stomach is truly horrible. I am now faced with a very difficult situation, not only health wise but also financial.

The liver transplant is an extremely expensive and complicated process. My husband cannot go to work because he's in charge of taking me to all the tests, procedures and hospital visits which I have almost every day.

Please I need your help, any donation is more than welcome, every little bit helps, I never imagined I would be in this predicament. I have been a professional hard working wife and mother that has lived in this country all my life and have served my community with honor and respect.
