Carlos Reyes Memorial Fund

Carlos Reyes passed away on the night of December 27th after being a victim of a hit and run incident. Carlos was hit by a driver while riding his bike home from work on the night of December 13th. It resulted in Carlos being on life support for 2 weeks at Duke Hospital before passing away.
The driver who hit him has still not been found.
Carlos was a co worker with a strong work ethic, a great friend, and a beloved father.
He leaves behind a family who needs help getting him back to Honduras for a proper burial. This is very expensive and time consuming.
Any size donation would be greatly appreciated.
Carlos did not deserve to pass away the way that he did but he does deserve to be with his family.

I have added Bob Jewett, the owner of Bocci and friend of Carlos and his family, as the “beneficiary” to this campaign. Bob has been in contact with the family about all of the arrangements, and will be making sure all the funds are going to the family and the effort to get Carlos home.  We all appreciate all the generosity that has been shown for the cause thus far as we continue to work towards our goal.
