Carlos M Duran De Oliveira

Carlos would drive everyone crazy at the restaurant. He was a special character and there was not one day when he would not make you laugh, no matter how hard his day was. We spent the last year working at OSP and we shared many anecdotes together from watching sports, to talking about his crazy life stories, to hours and hours of side work, to singing our hearts out when "Ya Superame" would come out, to talking about politics and more.

Carlitos as I would always call him was a kind and good human being. He was always respectful, he cared about people and he tried his best every single day. His presence is deeply missed in our workspace (who else would steal your side of french fries).

As I continue to recall our conversations, the things he would do and say to us, the more I realize the impact he had in our lives. He planted seeds, ideas, of things we could do, because he saw the good things in people. He always had encouraging words to me, and that I will never forget.

I will also never forget his laugh, his witty jokes, his way of being. He filled the space with joy. He was unique and authentic.

We are still processing Carlito's departure, but we as his friends at Old Stove Pub want to support his loving wife Danielle in any way during these difficult times.

Carlitos was a crucial part of the Old Stove Pub team and many of the things we have and are today are because of him. We appreciate any donation for his family.
