Carlin Madera's 2nd Chance at Life!

On August 14th, 2022, Carlin Madera aka Krazy Minion, was riding his Slingshot home on the Van Wyck Expressway in Jamaica, Queens, NY. On the way home, his rear tire hit a large pothole that caused the rear wheel to pop off the Slingshot, which sent him and the Slingshot into several barrel rolls. Carlin was ejected out of the Slingshot, once the barrel rolls ended, the Slingshot landed on top of Carlin. The Slingshot landed right side up on top of him and the individuals on the highway flipped it off of him, god bless them. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital in Queens, NY. On 8/23, he was moved to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. The Slingshot broke all of his ribs, his pelvic bone broke in 6 places and his left arm broke in 3 places. Because the Slingshot landed on him, the exhaust burned through his back and his right leg. It is a miracle Carlin is alive. The road to recovery will include multiple surgeries and months of rehabilitation to get him to walk again. Please donate to help a fellow rider on his road to recovery.
