Carlie’s Funeral Fund

As many of you know, our beautiful and sweet Carlie went to be with the Lord on November 5th after a very traumatic car accident involving an 18 wheeler that resulted in her being life lighted to UAB hospital. She sustained traumatic injuries to her brain that caused severe swelling and bleeding. The doctors and nurses tried everything they could, but the injuries were irreversible and resulted in her being pronounced brain dead. This Go Fund Me is to raise money for funeral costs and medical bills in order to relieve a little bit of pressure from our parents. This has been the most unexpected and heartbreaking event our family has endured. This has been a complete shock to all of us. If you knew Carlie, you knew that she was a ray of sunshine. To know Carlie, was to love Carlie. She spent the last several years of her life devoting herself to Jesus and to people and her love for Jesus was so bright. Over the last couple of years, Carlie battled cancer, addiction, back surgery, and so much more and she ALWAYS ALWAYS came out on top with more purpose to serve Jesus and use it as her testimony. She is my inspiration, as she is to so many other people. A real life angel. She was so incredibly loved by so many people and we are so thankful to everyone that has shown love and support for her and our family. I never thought the day would come that I would have to say bye to my twin sister. Twenty three years just wasn’t long enough. But I know she's rejoicing in Heaven with Jesus and no longer in pain. I’m so happy knowing where she is and Who she’s with ❤️❤️❤️
