Biopsy and PET Scan for Carla Wilson

Hi Friends, Ace's nanny, Carla, has been with us for a year, and has become like family to us. She is a mother of four, a member of the Mormon church, and an incredibly giving and loving friend to everyone around her. Recently, Carla was told that she has multiple tumor-like growths in her neck. In order to confirm and move forward with a treatment plan, she needs a biopsy and a PET scan. Unfortunately, Carla's insurance requires her to pay her entire $2000 yearly deductible before they will cover any of the biopsy, something which is simply not in her budget on a nanny's salary. In addition to this amount, PET scans are cutting edge tests that are currently not covered under many insurances, including Carla's. The cost of the PET scan is $2177.
