Carl wants you!!!

Spende geschützt
My brother Carl went in to the hospital because he wasn't feeling well back in May. After many tests the doctors gave him a diagnosis of lymphoblastic lukemia. The doctors immediately moved to begin radiation treatments. This was the start of a very difficult journey for him. He spent the first couple of months in and out of the hospital. Then at the beginning of August he went in for stem cell/bone marrow transplant. This was the start of the 100 days in the hospital. During his time he developed a rare and aggressive fungus and was on the brink of death! His chances were wicked slim of surviving but he is one tough nut. They had to remove portions of his jaw bone, teeth, and cheek tissues the stop the fungus. He is now looking at multiple reconstructive surgeries to repair the damages. Carl will be out of work for at least 2-3 more months. He has burnt up all his annual leave and almost all of his sick time and really needs some support to carry through. Carl has spent his life as a servant to the homeless and the public through various programs. He is a Veteran and served honorably in the U.S. Army, serving 7 years with the 1-101st Field Artillery.  He was the Warden of Vermonts largest state  prison and also worked as a parole/probation supervisor. He has always been there for his family, friends, and strangers. Can we be there for him in his greatest time of need? I think we can! Please help us raise funds so he can make it back to regular life and not be bankrupt because of a major bump in the road. Please share this to the greatest extent possible. Thank You!!!
