Carl & Martin's Tri against Lymphoma.

On the 10th of July 2022, Martin Simpson and I are both taking on the Croyde Ocean Triathlon. This Olympic distance triathlon is ranked in the Top 10 toughest triathlons in the world by 220 Triathlon magazine! The challenge consists of a 1.5km sea swim, 38km hilly cycle and a 12km trail run. This will NOT be easy for either of us.

In April of 2022, our friend's 16-year-old daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. As a parent myself, I cannot imagine any tougher situation in the world. Her challenge consists of months of intensive treatment and a hard fight against this cancer. This will NOT be easy for her or her family.

We would love to be able to help this family, our friends, in some small way to cover some of the significant costs involved in daily/weekly journeys to the hospital for treatment and any other areas of need. We are setting up this page to enable people who might like to donate to this cause.
