Saving Bryce: His fight against SMA-1

Donation protected
Hi Friends!
My name is Bryce Noah Amiel and I am 2.5 years old.  I have
been diagnosed with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1).  When I was born, my mama tried to find out why could not sit up or bear weight on my legs. At 9 mo and exhausted of telling the doctors there was something unusual about me, she was informed that most kids with SMA do not live past their 2nd birthday. – I am doing everything I can to prove the doctors wrong. But I now need your help.

Words from My Mom:

As you can imagine paying for equipment for Bryce that is not  covered by insurance isn't easy. I am starting this new fundraiser because now with Bryce’s respiratory condition declining my sweet angel requires more equipment and supplies to keep him as healthy as possible. At the top of the list: a breathing machine called a “bipap triology” a table, a harness, vitamins, Tylenol, diapers, and later we need money towards the stander that he needs to keep improve circulation and breathing.

I am hoping you can help us by giving a small donation. Anything helps. Thank you!

Here is a photo of Bryce's recent hospital stay.

Today, my parents work to pay medical bills, so I often have nurses in both homes. Grandma also helps care for me when my mom teaches. We make each day full of love and laughter. My Mom does my exercises 4 days a week, keeping my legs and arms moving, as well as teaching me how to talk, draw, paint, play computer games, and hours of fun playtime.

I know how to say over 100 words,  have conversations now, do puzzles, finger paint, and staying strong. Thanks to my mama's advocacy and training with providers to keep me moving.

July 1st 2014, I got sick. 911 was called again and the nice firemen and women came and took me back to the hospital. After weeks of respiratory care I finally was realeased. It was pretty scary but lots of folks took good care of me, let me watch movies and especially fantastic was Mama, Uncle Shaun and friends who kept making each day filled with fun and love. Now that I am back to a home routine that should help me stay healthy, my mom desperately needs assistance with medical supplies and equipment.
