Car for the Kecks

Lorie and Kathy traveled to the Appalachian Mountains on their honeymoon in 1974 and with a burden on their heart for the people of that region they soon after moved down to teach at a mission school. Once they arrived, they continued their ministry not only by working at the school but also by ministering in churches around the area. Lorie and Kathy have selflessly served Jesus in whatever they have done whether it was at Riverside Christian School, Clayhole Brethren Church, or Peru First Brethren. This couple has always looked to the needs of others before their own and because of this they do not have a reliable car and do not have the financial means to get one. For this reason and to give back a small portion of the love they have given so graciously it is our desire to purchase them a reliable vehicle. We know that they would use this car to do ministry, help in their community, and visit family that live in different states. By contributing to this cause you would be helping to bless a couple that has blessed so many. You would be investing in people who have eternity in their hearts and on their minds. You would be helping to give an unforgettable gift that expresses thanks for a lifetime of ministry. Their children will be surprising them with the car for their anniversary this June.
