Care for the Cox family

Donation protected
On December 26th at around 10:30 pm our friends Tyler and Shannon Cox’s home caught on fire.  Luckily, a neighbor saw the flames coming from the garage and ran over and woke them up so they could all get out safely.     From around 10:35 p m to the wee hours of the morning Simi’s finest worked tirelessly to battle the flames.  The fire took its toll on this family’s house.. The Cox’s garage was a total loss and the house suffered smoke and water damage and is not livable at this time.  Because of God’s blessings no one was injured during this but the damage was devastating. They are currently living with relatives, but have a long road ahead of them. Tyler and Shannon did not currently have renters insurance in place and will need assistance getting back on their feet. We as a community would like to rally around them by starting this Go fund me to help them lift some of the burden.  Shannon is currently on maternity leave just having their fourth son.  Tyler is an LAPD officer. They will have MANY NEEDS due to the fire.  They will need to replace the inside contents of their home due to smoke and water damage.  At this point, we don’t know how much of their material possessions will be salvageable. A fire is a horrendous tragedy for anyone but especially, one day after Christmas.  We, friends of the victims of the fire, are asking for any help you can provide to help rebuild this family’s life and restore any sense of normalcy.
