Care for Carol Anne

Carol Anne El-Mahdy is no stranger to cancer. 6 years ago, she began a battle she had no idea would lead to the extremes she faces today. Diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago, Carol Anne remained strong and went through treatments and procedures to eliminate all cancer present. Going for regular checkups after this diagnosis to ensure the cancer didn’t return, everything seemed normal. Carol Anne went back to daily living, working as a PEC teacher at Stewart Heights Elementary School, being a wife and a mother to 14 year old Sophie. Everything was fine now. Or so she thought. 3 short months ago, Carol Anne was diagnosed with incurable Leio Myo Sarcoma, a type of soft tissue cancer. This cancer is very aggressive, traveling by way of bloodstream and was discovered at stage 4. Unable to return to work, Carol Anne is facing not only massive emotional and health problems but financial as well.
