Car Repair Funds- Transmission

I can't afford the repair of my car which is going to cost about $4,000 to have the diagnostic done on the transmission and the cost for a new transmission. I also have an issue with my front driver side window as it is not going up or down. I need the repair done on the transmission by getting it replaced before the transmission completely breaks down and is unable to get me to work . As a teacher I need my car so that I can educate the youth of America.  As for the window on my drivers side that stopped working, I would like to be able to get that fixed before the winter comes on full force as that will make for an uncomfortable drive when the weather starts getting colder.  I need to get my transmission fixed as soon as possible as I can't continue to count on borrowing my dad's car as he needs it for his own purposes.  Any help that people could provide would be a blessing.
