Car Needs Tires (and POWER STEERING!)

UPDATE 9/13/2021
New Tires have been purchased and installed, thanks to everyone who's donated.  Of course, now the automated "Oil Maintenance Needed" light is on. 
Mom's car, however, is still in need of parts to get it running.  We're hoping they'll be delivered by Tuesday next week.  

UPDATE!!!   
While driving my Mom's car back from my niece's housewarming party, the steering wheel started getting stiff.  Thankfully we were only a couple miles from home, because we just DID get the car up the street and into the driveway as the Power Steering completely died.  

So -- now not only MY CAR needs help, now MOM'S CAR needs it too!


Hi friends!

It's Kathy again. After two years, the tires on my little Prius are about wore to racing slicks. With Winter on the way, I desperately need to replace them, hopefully before I get Laid Off for Winter.

I got an estimate from a local tire store/mechanic, and the tires themselves are going to be $335 with "tax and tire disposal". Please note it said nothing about how much labor was going to be.

So, I'm asking for $500. Any extra from installing the tires will go to pay up the car insurance and other bills as much as I can so I don't have to worry about that while Laid Off.  

Many of you have helped me before in other GoFundMes, and it really saved my bacon. I want to thank each of you who've helped in the past.
