Hello everyone,
I have done many go fund me's for charities in the past to help other organizations. Today I am starting a gofund me so I can officially start my own charity. This gofund me will help cover the cost to start up the LLC or corporation as well as the supplies needed to help and rescue animals.
The 1st goal and project of the organization is to get the funds acquired to get a boat. Preferably a pontoon boat because of the capacity and reliability. This boat will be used after hurricanes to help stranded animals left behind. Such as cats and dogs left without food water or medical attention stranded or lost.
The plan is to go out with a team of carrying people along with a veterinarian on the boat searching for stranded and injured animals, having the medical supplies and equipment to treat the animals and bring them to safety, as well as find their owners and return them. Or even get them healthy for new families.
Hopefully if this becomes a successful endeavor and would like to expand to a traditional no kill shelter as well, and hopefully someday match up rescue dogs with veterans.
