Liebe Gemeinschaft, Bulli- und Camingfreunde,
wir sind Markus (38J.) und Sabine (36J.) Hillemann, kommen aus Hamburg und sind sehr glückliche Eltern unserer kleinen Tochter Merle, welche nun genau ein Jahr alt ist.
Zu unserer Familie gehörte außerdem unser über alles geliebter Bulli.
Ein T4 Dehler Profi GL, welcher in Paris auf den Namen "Passepartout" getauft wurde.
Durch einen technischen Defekt im Motorraum ist er am 02.08.2019 in Brand geraten und konnte nicht mehr gerettet werden. Er ist komplett ausgebrannt mit all unserer Ausstattung zum Campen.
Wir waren total geschockt, konnten es kaum glauben!
Über 8 Jahre hat er uns nun begleitet und viel mit uns geteilt.
Er war Alltagsauto, häufiges Ausflugsquartier, Urlaubsherberge, Flitterwochendomizil und ein großes Stück zu Hause!
Unsere Tochter fuhren wir, nach ihrer Geburt, mit dem Bulli heim und auch ihre ersten Urlaube und Abenteuer verbrachten wir mit Passepartout.
Wir dachten immer sie würde mit ihm aufwachsen.
Nun wollen wir ihr dies aber mit einem neuen Bulli ermöglichen.
Passepartout wird nie ersetzbar sein und immer unsere erste große Bulliliebe bleiben. Wir können und wollen uns jedoch ein Leben ohne Bulli, vor allem jetzt mit Merle, nicht vorstellen.
Auch sie soll all die großen Bulliabenteuer, die noch kommen werden, erleben und so die Welt entdecken!
Geplant waren u.a. Reisen nach Kroatien, Frankreich und Norwegen.
Zudem war der Bulli, wie oben beschrieben, auch unser Alltagsauto. Zu Dritt sind wir gerade auf Leihwagen oder die Bahn angewiesen.
Wir müssen wieder mobil und flexibel sein und brauchen daher dringend wieder ein Auto.
Zu diesem Zweck hat es uns ein familiengeeigneter Bulli angetan:
Ein T4 California exclusive.
Wir rechnen mit einem Kaufpreis von 20.000Euro.
Nachdem was wir von der Versicherung von Passepartout erwarten dürfen und dem was wir haben, fehlen uns noch 5.000Euro.
Bitte helft uns im Alltag wieder mobil zu sein und gleichzeitig unsere Träume wahr werden zu lassen.

Dear community, VW Bus and camping fans,
we are Markus (38) and Sabine (35) Hillemann from Hamburg, Germany, and we are the immensely happy parents of our little daughter Merle, who just turned 1.
Another important member of our family was our dearly beloved VW bus (type T4 Dehler Profi GL) which we lovingly named "Passepartout" when we stayed in Paris.
Due to a technical defect in the engine compartment our bus went up in flames on August 2nd 2019 and couldn't be saved.It burned down completely, including all of our camping gear.
We were completely shocked and it's still hard to believe.
Our bus has been such an important part of our lives for over 8 years.
It was not only our car for the daily errands but our home away from home on many trips and even our honeymoon stay.
When our daughter was born we took her home from the hospital in our bus and her first vacations and adventures were spent with Passepartout.
We've always thought she'd grow up with him.
We still want to make this happen for Merle by buying a new bus.
Passepartout will always remain irreplaceable and our first great bus love.
However we simply can't imagine living without a bus, especially now we that we have Merle.
We want her to experience all the big bus adventures we always wished for her and to be able to travel and learn about the world at a young age.
We are dreaming of trips to Croatia, France and Norway in the coming years.
Furthermore, as stated above, our bus was also our car for everyday use.
When going out as a family of three we now have to take the train or rental cars.
However we need to be more mobile and flexible again and for that we'll need a car.
Which is why we're planning to buy a new bus suited for families:
The T4 California exclusive.
We're expecting it to cost approx. 20.000 Euros.
With the money we can expect from Passepartout's insurance and our own savings we'll still be missing 5.000 Euros.
That's why we're asking you to please help us to become more mobile in our daily life again, while simultaneously being able to also have our dreams of travelling with our bus come true.
