Car Enthusiast John Maxwell's Stroke Recovery Fund

On March 25th, our good friend John Maxwell suffered a stroke which has left him with limited mobility in his right leg and no function in his right arm whatsoever.
John is a well known car enthusiast in the vintage Volkswagen and classic American car scene. For those of us who know John, he is a quite generous, humble human being, who is always there to help you whenever you need him.
This is the time that friends, family, and the Classic Car community has the opportunity to come together to help John with his recovery. He is in rehab, and is attempting to learn to walk, and trying to gain some degree of function in his arm.
John's bills are starting to accumulate and the rehab facility he is currently in cost $350.00 a day. We are unsure how much his insurance will cover. Due to John's current state of mobility and progress thus far, it is uncertain if and when John may be able to drive again. We hope he will be able to afford to stay in a rehab facility until he can regain the use of his arm, and walk with minimal assistance.
Before John can return home, it will require some improvements to better accommodate his recent life changes. We hope he will be able to make the transition with little, to no assistance, as well as the ability to drive again.
Please help John through this rough time and help cover some of his medical costs and necessary home repairs. The lack of John's presence at the car shows hasn't gone unnoticed.
