Captain Jay Rushing is always the first to lend a hand to help someone in need of to help the close community of St John USVI.  

On a routine day in late February, Jay was preparing for any normal day at Ocean Runner when he fell short of breath. He was taken to the clinic on St John then transported to the hospital on St Thomas by water ambulance.
He was admitted and spent 5 days in the ICU being monitored.  From there he made the decision to travel to the Cleveland Clinic in Ft Lauderdale to seek more testing and resolution of his medical issue.

We are seeking to raise money for Jay's medical bills becuase despite best efforts the group medical insurace Ocean Runner purchased for our captains, it did not become effective until 3/1/16, just 5 days after Jay was admitted.  He was told his stay in the hospital in St Thomas would be $10,000/day while he was in the ICU.

100% of these donations will be paid to cover hospital expenses and it will mean so much to Captain Jay and his family.  Please help this wonderful family by giving to a man who always helps.  The Rushing family will be eteranlly grateful.
