Captain Dave Huston's Recovery

Capt. Dave Huston went to the hospital in excruciating pain early December 2020. A routine appendix surgery, coupled with other complications, has turned in to Dave fighting for his heart to keep up with him! He was sent home a week ago with only a 20% heart efficiency, and strict orders to wear his chest vest for 90 days to hopefully get his function above 35% so they can get a pacemaker in him, and get him back to better health.

In the meantime, Capt. Dave is off the water...and everyone knows that when a captain is not on the boat, then the captain is not making money to keep up with all that costs in life. 

This Go Fund Me account has been set up to help a fellow local captain, who has been fishing with us for years. Hopefully we can help to offset some of his medical bills and general living expenses, and just let him know we are here for him!
