Captain Bubby's IsLAND Tours

We are a group of high school friends fundraising for our former classmate, Bubby Howell and his partner, Paula Schuterra. The name of their business is Captain Bubby's IsLAND Tours. They started the company to be able to concentrate on being part of the preservation efforts to protect the fragile ecosystems of Sanibel and Captiva and retain the island's beauty. Bubby is a certified naturalist and, together with his crew, has delighted many visitors seeking to discover the area's natural beauty. As their classmates, we are proud of them for genuinely following their dream.

The present scenario is devastating. The business may not be able to function for months. Their home is unlivable, and Paula is undergoing active cancer treatments. Captain Bubby (formerly Paula Howell) graduated in 1974 from Oakwood High School in Canton, Ohio. Bubby began visiting Florida in 1973. He was able to relocate and has lived there for about ten years. This venture was Bubby's dream, and he has worked so hard to make it a reality. He loves to share his love of the area and his enthusiasm for nature's gifts and surprises. His high school friends have banded together to show our love and support at this unbelievably rough time. Bubby and Paula are genuinely humbled and thankful for any help or words of encouragement they might receive.
