Canyon Hideaway, TLC Trees and Robby Hall family
Donation protected
This gofundme is to help Robby Hall and his family to recover tools, equipment and rebuild two family businesses that were lost in the McBride fire April 12, 2022. TLC Trees and Halls RV Park (recently renamed Canyon Hideaway and Escape) have been a part of the Ruidoso community for over 30 years.
While the Mcbride fire raged in extreme winds, Quade Hall was helping to evacuate the middle school as Robby assumed Operations Section Chief for the fire while Wesley Hall was working to save the RV park and continued to fight the McBride fire. 4 RVs and one house were saved and most of the RV park burned, as well as Robby’s tree equipment for his business TLC Tree Service. That equipment included a wood chipper, a log loading trailer, trucks, tree climbing equipment and chainsaws amongst thousands of dollars in miscellaneous tools. Knowing their own belongings were burning they all continued to fight the McBride fire and help the community of Ruidoso.
Anyone who has been around Ruidoso knows Robby Hall, a life long Lincoln County resident, and how he has helped so many people in our community. Whether it is plowing driveways during the winter, clearing hazard trees and thinning trees, saving the occasional e animal in need or as a retired fireman for Ruidoso Fire Department, an active volunteer for the Bonito Volunteer Fire Department (20+ years), Robby is no stranger to aiding our community in times of need and would never ask for help in his stubborn ways. A jokester, all smiles, never one to want to take a handout…now it is our turn as a community to help a friend out! Please consider donating however you can to help the Hall Family.
Robby’s equipment lost in the fire had also helped to rescue an elk in 2020 that was stuck in an open pump house.
