I CAN'T LOSE MY NEW LIFE TO CAR THIEVES!

This is so much larger a crime than that car thief will ever know.

I cannot replace Car-Car, and I cannot SAVE to replace Car-Car on SSDI now. I also cannot replace all the valuables in the nice luggage that were IN Car-Car on the morning she was stolen (last Saturday) from RIGHT in front of my new house, in broad daylight!

ANNNND... I cannot walk. They stole my livelihood, numerous sentimental jewelry pieces & alot of monetary valuables that included 5 pairs of shoes I JUST got to accommodate my feet (swollen) and knees until I have my surgery. Now I'm living in socks. But, I guess I'll get by. I can't leave the house anyway. I can no longer get food, go to my physical therapy appointments, go to the gym for senior exercise classes nor attend my Yoga classes that do SO much good, OR go swimming which keeps my muscles from atrophying while I'm living a pretty sedentary life. I can't visit my son, who's the only person that I know or ever get to see! And I can't even walk to use the Max rail for all my doctor appointments and it's only 3 blocks away! My best cane was in the car too!!

I went thru hell to return to Oregon in Jan 2020 where my only living family IS my son...only to go into lockdown due to Covid only 2 mos later just as I was getting my tutoring business going to supplement my fixed income. On SSDI, I had to have charity services bring me food, and I didn't see another soul for about a year! I was JUST ABOUT to start living a little once I moved here with my little Honda Car-Car, bought with great struggle and aid, I was so lucky and SO HAPPY. The only reason so many personal belongings were IN the car is I'd just come home from two and a half weeks of dogsitting in NE Portland and I couldn't carry my big hefty bag of laundry or either of the two pieces of luggage or the gift bag full of books into the house AND up the stairs myself and was waiting to run into downstairs tenant and ask for his help. I'd just bought the clothes, all of the toiletries were new except my makeup bag of things and the jewelry had some very sentimental & valuable pieces in it...the rest was new, but just costume jewelry. Both luggage pieces were expensive but used. AND each pair of shoes was especially chosen for this waiting time prior to dual knee replacement surgery as my feet swell terribly! I don't KNOW what I am going to do...that little used get around car was key to EVERYTHING, MY MOVING FORWARD IN LIFE DEPENDED ON IT! HELL, HAVING A LIFE DEPENDED ON IT!!!

I AM HOPING TO RAISE ENOUGH MONEY TO PURCHASE ANOTHER CHEAP USED GET AROUND CAR, PAY DMV, DEQ FEES, AND REPLACE WHAT I CAN OF THE SHOES, AND SOME OF THE OTHER ITEMS THAT I DONT HAVE ANY OF NOW.

There was also a brand new tool box in the trunk with new EVERYTHING you'd need on the road just in case, including a $100 jack that hadn't even been opened yet.

They found my car 2 nights later (see cover pic) in a ditch outside Estacada, completely stripped and unsalvageable. The hope of her being returned in MAYBE drivable condition even probably WITHOUT my belongings is now gone too.

 

ANY DONATIONS MADE TOWARD PUTTING ANOTHER CHEAP CAR UNDER MY ARTHRITIC, SCIATICA-SUFFERING, SWOLLEN FEET & JOINTS, BONE ON BONE KNEED-FANNY WOULD BE APPRECIATED MORE THAN I COULD EVER SAY! REPLACING MY CHEAP STOLEN CAR WOULD NOT ONLY GIVE ME MY LIFE BACK, IT WOULD SEE ME ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF MYSELF RESPONSIBLY & MEDICALLY AS WELL.
