Fight for health! Cancer treatment

I’m 39 y/o single mom to an amazing young man that is in his sophomore year of college. I stay busy with 2 jobs, weight training, loving life and sportsy stuff.
A little over a month & a half ago, I felt a little more sore after bench pressing and I wasn't lifting as much as I could the week before. That same week I found a lump on my left breast. I panicked. My Gramma Rose died really young of cancer... and I was not ready to go any where! After some radiology appointments and a breast biopsy I was diagnosed with papillary breast carcinoma. I have met with a great surgeon and just finished MRI scans that will help us work out my plan but it sounds like mastectomy and radiation are not too far into my future.
Just like me, this cancer is rare, especially for someone under 40. Rare equals expensive. After a few dr’s visit, consults and three diagnostic tests and the bills are already in the thousands and this is just the beginning of the fight. I have a great circle of family and friends ready to fight along side me so I am setting this up to streamline.
I’m an open book so please feel free to ask me any questions about the diagnosis, tests, procedures or just life. This is a learning experience for the whole team ♥️♀️ #fighton
