Gary's Cancer Treatment

Dear family, friends and acquaintances … I was diagnosed with two primary cancer tumours 7 months ago – bowel and liver bile duct cancer. Liver bile duct cancer is a rare disease. After many operations and now chemotherapy my doctors believe that the only way forward for me to be able to live as healthy as possible with longevity is a treatment called Immunotherapy. This therapy will help my own immune system fight the cancer and has been successful in treating the type of liver cancer I have. Regrettably it is not on the PBS or covered by Medicare. As my cancer is incurable my oncologist believes I will need the treatment indefinitely and the total cost will be $60K.
