️Thank you all for clicking! Please read Kians story below

In 2019 at 8 years old Kian began to have a swelling in his face that after repeated visits to the hospital, GP and dentist went undiagnosed (Kian is autistic so already started off on the back foot, as medical professionals tended not to be as patient with him) until early 2020 where he was put into intensive care at Addenbrookes hospital and we were told he had Ewing sarcoma in his face, (Ewing's sarcoma is a soft tissue and bone cancer his tumor was large and inoperable as the location for this cancer was rare and difficult to deal with). We tried chemo and radiotherapy to try and see what would happen, the tumor responded and shrunk to half the size...there was hope. For 18 months Kian's tumor was stable until his cancer returned in May 2022 with a small tumor developing behind his eye, once again we began intense treatment and Kian had tumor surgery to resect most of the tumor (not all), more chemo and he had some radiotherapy, that treatment took it's toll...Kian had so many complications that meant he didn't go out much out of fear he would feel worse, nose bleeds, vomiting, bone pain, vision problems to name a few..his cancer treatment was grueling but the side effects were worse, it isolated him and made him lonely. Even after all of that we had hope, kians scans in November 2023 showed no evidence of disease and for the first time we smiled, we laughed....we felt we had a future.

On March 18th 2024 i received the worst news possible that Kian has a new tumor in his brain and it is big, this one is aggressive and the options to save his life aren't there, we've tried everything and he's genuinely tired of all the hospital visits, blood transfusions, needles and pain anyway. The plan however is to make him as comfortable as possible for as long as possible but we have time breathing down our necks and financial restrictions, I'm Kians mum and I'm a single mum, all I have is Kian he is my best friend and I am his....I've been doing everything for him largely on my own from administering medication, to washing him, carrying him, doing school work and keeping up with all his appointments, I finally have the courage to ask for help to give him everything that he wants and create some beautiful memories whilst hes still here as well as make him comfortable with his transition to his new life beyond this one on earth.

Kian wants to stay at Legoland, go for a swim somewhere tropical? (something he couldn't do because of all the medical equipment in his body that couldn't get wet), he wants to go to centre parcs, collect unique vintage Lego, visit London to see Shrek world and much more...im going to try my best to give him everything on his little list whilst he can do it, any little bit helps for going towards these things as well as his equipment to keep him comfy at home like a hospital bed, commode etc Kian loves his home, it's the little comforts here that keep him happy so I decided to keep him here instead of in his hospice and the things for his care are costly. He will also be 13 next month and I am trying to give him the most special day possible whilst also trying not to worry about finances so I can enjoy whatever time I have left with my special boy but any help will mean more than you know.

If you want to check on Kian and his journey he has an Instagram, I've been documenting his cancer journey for a few years now so you can see what he's been up to and what we are up to from here on - @kiansquest
