Cancer sucks! Leanne’s $35K fight for life!

Our dearly adored Nanny, Mum, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and absolute bucket of inspiration is fighting in a battle no one should ever have to fight in - the fight against cancer.
Two years ago news transpired that mum has cancer, a rare form of bowel cancer, and it’s been a roller coaster in an uphill battle ever since. Despite being on this roller coaster of hell, she has been nothing but a solider, an absolute trooper. To complicate this horrific illness even more, mum also suffers from an autoimmune condition. This makes her immune system even more susceptible to complications. Her first round of chemo nearly killed her, but it didn’t, and we we want to do anything we can to make sure it doesn’t anytime soon.
After rounds of chemo and radiation, without as much success as the drs were hoping, the next step is immunotherapy. Unfortunately due to Mums autoimmune condition, she is unable to be apart of a funded trial, instead for her she has to pay $35,000 to help aid in her survival. Throughout all her previous treatments, physical and emotional pain of dealing with the big C, she’s managed to continue working in her job caring for others as a nurse. And throughout a global pandemic might I add. She’s an angel. Hence the reason for our call out for help, if we can’t take away the cancer and her pain, we want to atleast try lessen the financial burden that this next, and possible, final option will bring. Even if it brings enough for her to have some time off work to focus on her healing, without having to worry about how they’ll pay the bills.
Mum has 3 beautiful children, 4 incredible grand babies and an adoring husband who need her around a while longer. She’s our glue.
