Cancer run for my best friend and others

The first photo is one of me and my best friend stacy on her 40th birthday … the 2nd photo we were not expecting 6 months later …. We had just come back from had her last round of radiotherapy… Would you know that from the picture…..No you wouldn’t …. Her strength is unbelievable… so………

On Sunday 13th July we will be running 10k to raise money for cancer - we have been friends since the age of 11 and truly I know not another sole who is the most kind and beautiful person as she.

We honestly have been through thick and thin together - You never think it will happen to you - especially at 40 … but she has been battling cancer for the past 18 months - would you know it?! No you wouldn’t because despite everything somehow she still manages to put others before her, slap a smile on her face and soldier on.

She has 2 young children and has had to go through a hysterectomy, biopsy’s, radiotherapy, brachytherapy to name a few procedures.

Her unbelievable strength has carried her through along with the support of family and friends ..so please let’s extend the support and all come together and raise money for cancer research, where more people are surviving cancer than ever before. We are all waiting for the day in 5 years time when stacy can get her 5 year cancer-free diagnosis
