Cancer returns for amputee...please help

Donation protected
The St. Michael’s Poway prosthetics program has donated over 200 prosthesis in Tijuana to those who have lost a limb at no charge to them.

Juan Gabriel was one of the youngest and most deserving recipient. At the age of 22, he was diagnosed with Sarcoma and had his leg amputated right below the hip.

.Juan Gabriel received his prosthesis in January and for a time it seemed that he had been given a second chance at life. He and his wife, Sheila, made a move to Monterrey, Mexico for a better opportunity and to be with family. They are expecting their first child, a little girl, any day now.

In the midst of the very happy time for them, Juan Gabriel’s cancer has returned. He has once again been diagnosed with sarcoma—this time in the hip.

He will need to have surgery to remove the cancer and the price of the surgery is more than they can afford.

I am hoping to raise the $10,000 needed to pay for his surgery. Without the surgery, Juan Gabriel will lose his battle to cancer.

If you can find it in your heart to help this beautiful family, they would be eternally grateful.

Every bit donated will go directly towards the surgery.
